Wythenshawe mum drops two dress sizes thanks to Bodyline

Walking down the aisle a trim size 12, Viki from Wythenshawe felt amazing, confident and beautiful on her wedding day in a stunning silk gown. Soon after, Viki became pregnant with her daughter, now three, and then a little boy the following year. Like most busy Mums, Viki was struggling to find the time to exercise and stick to a healthy diet and before she knew it, she was gaining pounds – not losing them and her weight shot up to 16 stone.

Says Viki, “My confidence was at an all time low after having the children and my body disgusted me. I just wanted to feel attractive again and felt trapped in my own body. I had gained over five stone through my pregnancies and subsequent bad eating habits. Despite trying all the usual diets, the weight just wouldn’t move and I just felt like a failure.

“I had noticed that a friend of mine looked amazing after losing several pounds and she told me how she had lost the weight with the help of Bodyline’s Wythenshawe clinic. I decided to give it a try and since then I haven’t looked back! I love the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome that I receive every week, it’s like a home-from-home really. Bodyline has not only given me my body back, it has also given me my confidence. Losing weight feels incredible and I’m over the moon with the results. I feel like me again!

“I couldn’t have done it without the help of the friendly nurses and doctors at Bodyline who have supported me all the way. I have dropped down from a size 18 to a 14 in four months and although I still have some way to go, I know that I can and will reach my target dress size – I would love to be comfortable in a sexy size 12 again!

“Reducing my portion sizes has really helped speed up my weight loss – whereas before I could eat huge portions, I now enjoy three healthy healthy meals with snacks in between. I no longer sit on the sofa and eat large meals late at night, I now just eat a little of what I fancy – it feels good to be in control of my eating habits, rather than food controlling me.”
